This site aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA — the accessibility standard the University of California holds its own websites to — and it is checked against that standard page by page, in light mode and dark: color contrast, heading structure, keyboard access, touch-target sizes, and motion.
In practice, that means: every page can be used with a keyboard alone; light and dark mode follow your system's setting; if your system asks for reduced motion, everything here holds still, including the transitions between pages; text keeps readable contrast everywhere; images carry descriptions; and the site works with JavaScript turned off (you would simply see it in English only).

Este sitio busca cumplir con WCAG 2.1 AA — el estándar de accesibilidad que la Universidad de California exige a sus propios sitios — y se revisa contra ese estándar página por página, en modo claro y oscuro: contraste de color, estructura de encabezados, acceso por teclado, tamaño de los controles y movimiento.
En la práctica, eso significa: cada página puede usarse solo con el teclado; el modo claro u oscuro sigue la configuración de su sistema; si su sistema pide menos movimiento, aquí todo se queda quieto, incluidas las transiciones entre páginas; el texto mantiene un contraste legible en todas partes; las imágenes llevan descripciones; y el sitio funciona con JavaScript apagado (simplemente lo vería solo en inglés).

This site does not watch you read it. There are no analytics, no cookies, no trackers, and no social-media embeds. Loading any page here makes no request to any server but this one — even the typeface is served from this site, so no third party learns that you visited.
One thing is stored, in your own browser: your language choice, so the site remembers it between visits. It is never sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it. If you write to the contact address, your message goes to me and nowhere else.
Este sitio no lo observa mientras lee. No hay analíticas, ni cookies, ni rastreadores, ni contenido incrustado de redes sociales. Cargar cualquier página de aquí no hace ninguna solicitud a ningún servidor más que a este — hasta la tipografía se sirve desde este mismo sitio, así que ningún tercero se entera de su visita.
Una sola cosa se guarda, en su propio navegador: su idioma elegido, para que el sitio lo recuerde entre visitas. Nunca se envía a ninguna parte, y borrar los datos del navegador lo elimina. Si escribe al correo de contacto, su mensaje me llega a mí y a nadie más.
